Account keeps logging out

I have done this before when I first joined and now I have a new PC it is happening again. A search revealed this thread my account keeps logging out but the post only mentions Firefox (which I'm not on) and the link provided by Darren just outlines the site rules etc, nothing about disabling the auto log off - not that I can find unless I am going completely mad!!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

check 'keep me logged in' when logging on.
its what i did and it worked.
and then click log off then close your browser
