This is normally due to cookies, cookie handling or a browser setting, in 90% of cases one or more of the following will resolve the problem:

    Internet Explorer
    a)
    Click Tools
    Click Internet Options
    Hit 'Delete Cookies'
Hit 'Delete Files' (This may take a few moments)
    Click OK
    Close / Re-Open IE

    b)
    Hit Tools
    Hit Internet Options
    Hit the Privacy Tab
    Click the Advanced button
Ensure a tick is in place for 'Override cookie handling' or something similar
Bullet 'Accept' in 1st party cookies
Bullet 'Accept' in 3rd part cookies
    Bullet 'Always allow cookies'

    Firefox / Mozilla
    Click Tools
    Click Options
Click Privacy Button across the top
    Click the Cookies Tab
    Click 'Clear Cookies Now'
    Click the Cache tab
    Click 'Clear Cache Now'
    Close / Re-Open your browser

When logging in click the 'Remember me', this would normally occur after the cookie has expire (900 minutes).

Finally try another browser, Firefox is what a lot are using, it is personal preference but it's a bit of a check to see whether it's browser or site related. Heck, you may even get to like the new browser

Grab Firefox from over here should you need it.
