Just Commodores

After having viewed the, ahem, "other" commodore forum this morning I would like to wholeheartedly congratulate all those responsible for the Just Commodores website. Not only is it a friendly and relaxed site with great members and heaps of advice but I can actually read it without burning my eyes!! Some say change is for the best, but I say if it ain't broke it don't need fixing!!

So a question for the Admin of this site, please reassure me that you plan to keep the current colour scheme for a while yet?

There might possibly be a change, but we are looking at having the option of also keeping this skin for you to use if you dont like the new one.............

Our new theme won't burn your eyes off! And appretiate the comment, we try our best.. I just laughed when I saw the soon to be number 2s new theme.. it makes me think of like a 5 year olds computer made out of legos (in Harvey Norman!)

Thanks for the feedback. Rat is right, we hear bad things but not always the good things so it's really appreciated we are doing something right.

I had a look last night at the 'other' commodore forum after someone pointing it out, whilst I don't mind it myself I certainly wouldn't have picked those colours.

And just for reassurance I certainly won't be making any sudden changes without putting it to a vote firstly. Unlike other forums we actually care what the users think instead of thinking what they want. As an admin it really makes me wonder what they are trying to achieve? 'Unprofessional' was one of the comments, lets not get me started on that. After reading the feedback it's completely obvious the 'majority' don't like it but they know best well so they think.

We have some changes coming although it is a month or so off at this stage, too many idea's and not enough time to do it in.

Just off the top of my head here are a few things we are looking at implementing, it may not happen when we upgrade but it will happen:

- Members section (All nice stuff for those very helpful members)
- Slight change of header (yes, the car will have working lights I hope)
- New sections (I won't let it all out of the bag just yet) but it may include some sub-forums.
