To do a search of members by state so we could pm them about upcoming state events? That way we would be sure everyone gets the message.

Not sure....I will have to ask the boss ( ) about it...I just keep an eye open on each post I read...if they are from around the designated area, I message them, asking if they are interested in going........but if someone wants to start a "State" thread, by all means...go ahead......
