Problems With Pics

Hi everyone i was wondering if you could help me out here i am having a few troubles with pictures and images on this site and some other sites. Where the pic is meant to be, it appears as a box with a red cross in the top left corner.

You on dial up?, could be timming out, or the PC is slow, is it an old PC.... what bout updateing to latest IE if you havent already got it

try the refresh button to see if that helps

I have actually got a Pentium 4 , with Broadband... and the refresh button doesnt fix the prob im still stuck. Note: this only happens on some pics, which i find weird.

hmmm might just have somthing to do wit your settings then

I get them every so often but I am sure that's do with my aggresive firewall tables (iptables) and/or popup blocker.

Thanks for your help guys, Do you know what settings they might be. As for a firewall, that is only enabled for some sites and i dont have a pop-up blocker (could use one though )

I use an oldish version of Kerio which I intend of sticking to as they seem to be just bloatware now. If you are looking for a nice version grab 2.1.5 I think I'm running, if you can't track it down I can put it up as a download.

A lot of firewall applications out there these days have built-in script blocking, pop-up blocking, everything else blocking, perhaps even attempt to temporarily shutdown the firewall and see whether that makes any difference.

Attachments won't be fixed, they'll need to be reattached
