PM an admin.. But I doubt they'll give you the name.. I almost think it should be compulsory for the name to show up.. Cowards.

Remove the option for leaving a comment.

If people like the post they thank the poster and if they don't like the post then they don't click the thanks button.

Then if someone wants to say something negative they have to post a reply for all to see and the anonymity is gone even if they private message they poster.

Tr3nt, I looked at your reputation points and found an unneccessary negative rep pointleft for you. I have since deleted it.

As another note, the person who left it did not have enough posts to actually add or remove any posts so it did not effect your rep level.

Above each post Steve you have a set of scales, you can either approve (good rep) or disapprove (bad rep).

Along with that there are comments which are often used for a personal slanging match because someone didn't agree with what someone else said.

As a side note if you have bad rep just let a mod know or admin of course and we can go back over and fix it up if we feel it was unfair which we have done in the above case.

Hey, can we get it made compulsory for people to leave a comment when they give/take a rep point. I don’t really have many but it would be nice to know what I got/lost them for.

Also, what are the different colors for? I take it green is good? grey is bad? What’s red for?

green is a good rep, for people who actualy have rep points to give ya
grey is for people who leave rep points but dont have any reps to give ya (bit like a neutral rep point)
red is bad, stay away from red, red is naughty

just gave you 2 rep remakrs a good one and a bad one, the good one gives a green square, and the bad one gives a red square, (i can remove the bad one if you wish)

i'm not really worried about having red squares as i don't give a stuff about rep points, it would be nice to know what i got them for that is all. it would be good if the person who gave me a negative rep point for the xbox inverter thread would tell me what it is i said that was so wrong????

but yeah, can we PLEASE make it compulsory to leave a comment or some sort

Unfortunately not, apparently vbulletin doesn't have this option for us to enable. So if anyone thinks they have been really hard done by with the rep points let us mods/admin know and we'll fix it up if need be and deal with the idiot who left it

Yeh I noticed it earlier, when reviewing some of todays feedback, that person will be getting a warning for abusing the rep system

Don't worry about it, the clown who left it doesn't have enough rep points for it to effect you.

Plus he got some positive feedback to counteract it.
