The reputation system is goooooooooooooooooone too many people were abusing the system and it was too hard for us to control. This replaces it, if you think someone has made a good helpful post, you can click the thanks button and let them know and show your appreciation, gone are the e-wang days!

See, I'm not a fan of this. I think people should be thanked/repped for adding value by helping people out, no doubt minux helps people out a bit. But people should receive rep for being helpful, not for having a funny avatar/sig or posting a funny thread in the humour section..

But not much that can be done I guess..

THe reason rep was removed was so people cant leave negative feedback, its either "thanks" or nothing

That would tidy it up a bit, but I give advice/help in sections on topics not related to automotive, would make it a bit hard to give thanks if that was the case.
