Changing the title of a thread.

Hey,

How can you change the title of the thread? Ive got a thread I started in My Rides called My VN in progress and I want to change it to just My VN Commodore.

Could somebody please tell me how to do this or could a mod please change it for me?

You need to ask a mod/admin to do it for you.

Have just changed it for you

yeah ive always wanted to have the ability to change the title of a thread myself. why do we need to leave it for the mods?

I beleive it is part of the way the forum software works. Looks like it can only be enabled for mods/admins

yeh, i asked airstrike the other day about that, as hes one of the admin on my msn list, i just ask him to change em for me.

he said hed find out if it can be changed for us to change it.

i think its a good idea, makes for showing updates about our cars easier and saves asking mods to do it.

Having gone threw the user group permissions it seems that there is no real way that you would be able to change your own thread titles. Giving you the abillity to do so would allow you to be able to do other things that I dont want you doing.
