hey,

iv been lookin on here and just can't seem to find it and know this has been explained heapz before but how does the ranking system go on here?

There really isnt a ranking system, more a reputation system, if you click on the scales on the top right of each post, it asks if you approve or dissaprove, if you want to check your points, click on user cp. For every 100 points you gain 1 green square, so 100 points = 2 green squares, 200, 3 green squares, 300 4 green squares etc.

I wouldnt worry too much about ranks, as once you get to 80 or so points it is always off the charts

got bored tonight, and fi naly decided it was time to play around with those settings, as a result, user points have changed, no-long 80 to be of the charts, it's now more than 260, was gonna make it 400, but would take way to long to get that high

Actually Garth, was looking at the Roadkill points at -100, I think that is a bit too generous, should be a bit sooner than -100. People will take a while to "feel the pain" I reckon.

Maybe you could have multiple levels of roadkill, that would be different..

Like the idea of moving the rankings up, I'm no longer off the charts but it makes sense because so many people were also off the charts, it's good to distinguish our many levels of excellence

i dont know how it works exactly, but i reckon once your rep points go negative, you should automatically be put on modded posts?

I wouldn't agree with that charg'd, only because so many people blatently abuse the system. You could find yourself as a new user saying something 1 person didn't like and being on modded posts.

nah, wont take that long, only 2 yrs id say, hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. if it is to much just say the word, better th an what i had it at to start with last night, i did kick it of at the 400 mark

Agreed. 20 points is a fair bit and if you are negative 20 you are obviously having a negative impact on this forum.

Select "User CP" from the top menu and you are presented with a summary of your reputation points and most recent comments on the lower part of the window.
