G'day smarties,
I'm having a problem with getting my signature picture to work. Usually I'd just wrap it in some img tags and be on my way but there's a strange form for entering the URL of the image, and when I do it a message comes up saying there's no image at the location or invalid URL or something![]()
http://j-sig.com/sig11814.png
That's the URL of the signature I want to use, looks like this:
I tried wrapping it in sigpic but it said I didn't have one. I'm guessing the signatures don't support PNG file format?![]()
![]()
Any idea how I could get this to work? It's a cool signature lol
I'd be suspecting it's something to do with the file extension in firefox as when I bring it up I get the following:
In exploder however it seems to come up fine.Code:Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/jch02140/public_html/jsig/sigpreview/img/sig.php on line 435
I know it hurts but perhaps try adding it via exploder and see what happens otherwise I'll have a look a little later on.
Something is very odd, I just used a couple of images I had sitting on the JC server no worries, used Google's logo also no problem.
No error is coming up in the logs so I tried to alter my UserCP over on vbulletin.com and vbulletin.org and found exactly the same thing.
I don't have exploder on this machine (Linux) but I think it would be fair to say it's something to do with the hypen or a vB bug.
I think it could be related to the manual override settings that used to be in place to stop people having image sigs, then when it was intro'd the settings got rooted but I have no idea.. tricky stuff
