    Question Email problems .....

    hey all,

    I just got my new PC, and on my old one i used to run my @justcommodores.com email through MICROSOFT OUTLOOK.... and now when i try using that account on my new PC it is giving me an error message and it seems as if the:

    Server Information:

    Incomming mail server (POP3) : ?
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP) : ?

    are wrong....

    could someone please let me know what the correct settings/addresses for theses to are ?

    pop3.justcommodores.com for both of them should set you in the right track...at least thats what i remember them being

    I thought it was mail.justcommodores.com for both

    what's the error message you're getting?

    hey guys,

    i used the justcommodores.com settings and now its asking me for a "Network Password"

    could these problems be caused by the latest version of windows SP2 ?

    The correct mail server addresses are both mail.justcommodores.com although I could easily make it pop3 as well if you wish.

    When it's asking for your account name and password ensure the account name is your full email address along with your password. If this fails let me know and I'll look into it.

    SP2 causes a variety of weird problems so far from what I've seen, I wouldn't rule it out but it's unlikely.

    Sorry Darren....i was positive last time I asked for the settings that was what you told me....normally i would say mail.jc.com myself but ah well not to worry

    its still not accepting the password and username and its all correct... :'(

    Travis could I get you to send an email to admin@justcommodores.com with the login details your using and I'll cross reference that to what we have here.

    If all of the above is correct there should be no reason why that is not working.
