Good/Bad Feed back for buyers & sellers

Just a suggestion, i think we need to make a threaad for feedback on buyers & sellers, to warn people who buy stuff from members, i think it should be compulsary in a way, that both buyers & sellers leave feedback for each other for everyone to see, especially after the thread in the shout out section

Or perhaps leave it to the members. If someone is short changed or a someone is ripped off in a buy or sell, the member should contact admin and I think admin should leave a 24 hour infraction on the member responsible. This way mods can keep track of anyone that does this multiple times. 3 strikes and you're banned from buying or selling on the site.

I think its a great idea and would be another tool for keeping undesirables in check, more so than the post feedback system thats in place now where anyone can have a sook by leaving neg feedback to someone just because they dont agree with the content of a post or someone's personal point of view. I like to know who I'm dealing with before i shell out any of my hard earned.

no, i get the point 100%... i was just saying that feedback left at the momnt is private. i agree that public feedback needs to be used.

To leave feedback follow what I have below:

Above each post a member makes you will find 'Trade Rating', simply click on that figure and click 'Submit Feedback For User' link.

You will confronted with the following options which need to be filled out accordingly:
You were the: - Buyer - Seller - Trade
Overall experience: - Positive - Neutral - Negative
A short comment: - Enter how the transaction went similar to what would you in Ebay
Deal thread URL: - Exact location of where the deal went down
Additional Comments: - Anything else you wish to add, probably more so useful when a transaction has gone bad.

this is a great idea. i reasently bought a tacho but i cant leave feed back because i havent been a member for 3 months is this to stop idiots being rude in feedback its just i would like to leave feedback for this person as it was a good buying experiance

Give that a crack now lowvh6 I just found an error I had made when I setup the promotion system, it was meant to be when certain criteria was met ie 20 posts or a member for 3 months.

I had this setup so 20 posts had to be made plus being a member for 3 months, I just ran the script manually and a flurry of members have just been promoted.

Any problems at all let me know, I'm working on a leaderboard table but that wants to play difficult.

Hey darren, just went to leave sum trade rep for infution but when i went n done it, it would com up sayin - Deal thread invalid.

would this be because the thread was not in the for sale section, as this is the only reson i can think of y it wouldnt go thru.

I went and copied the thread address a couple times to see if i missed a couple letters but it still wouldnt go thru.

It needs to be in 1 of the 3 trading post sections for it to be valid.

and if its on page 2 or 3 exc you have to go to where the deal was made i found out cause it did the same to me until i put the page in aswell if that makes sence

OK, its not valid as it wasnt in a thread in one of the for sale sections.

It was in the qld chit chat thread that he offered the parts to me.
