Why are certain people banned because 1 mod dislikes them trying to bring a bit of fun back into JC?

Surely this has to be a joke, it seems JC is turning into a place for kids who don't even own a commodore let alone drive one.

because apparently this power ranger thing they were doing had nothing to do with commodore discussion and just wastes server space.

We tried to play nice, and they spat in our faces. There was a thread made about a 'power ranger cruise' (don't you people have better things to do) that I moved to the shout out section. It then progressed to threads else were in the technical section.
The forum has been getting out of hand as of late with just utter crap being posted. Unfortunately this was just the straw that broke the camels back. You will find alot of crap that we let slide will not be tolerated any more.

Actually, the reason it was stopped has NOTHING to do with the fact they weren't talking about Commodores. I couldn't care less about that. I don't even recall anyone saying anything about that.

If you could see in the Deleted Threads and Posts section you would perhaps understand.

We have already had to settle two disputes regarding "Power Rangers" including one argument regarding a "zord" or whatever it is losing Traction Control. Couldn't care less what is posted until it turns into a dispute over XU6 drivers.

Furthtermore you twits, if you read posts properly I didn't ban anyone. I didn't even threaten to ban anyone. I said I would them on moderated posts. Perhaps if they got banned then there is something more to it that has nothing to do with you? Contrary to popular belief the moderators of this site are not "Ban Happy" Infact we have large discussions about a lot of members continously breaking the rules and trying to fix the issue without banning them. Perhaps those that did get banned were some of those people that were left with no other alternative? Who knows? It sure isn't you. Even when we do ban people and they make another ID do we ban them straight away? NO! We do keep an eye on them. Take a look at SSL-57L Banned several times now but we let him stay.

I don't dislike fun, but it's not fun when you continually have to clean up a mess because someone doesn't understand a simple concept of wasting other peoples time.

I'm sorry that it seems that I'm continously the bad guy around here. It's just a case of I do things that some moderators want to do but are afraid of repercussions. But, what are you going to do? Hate me? You do anyway so what have I got to lose?

Go ahead, reply try to provoke an argument..the thread will just get closed by someone and you'll stay angry.

juzza has been banned for reasones which is known to him, and he will not be returning

i did ban hawhawk and yess it was a little bit harsh

as a result i removed the infraction i gave him. but failed to put him into the normal group, which was done for me. seeing i forgot the extra step.

as for the power rangers, about 20 other threads had been poluted with power ranger crap, thread title why is my vn not idling right, the last post refered to a zoid doing something to the vn and some bloke called zortron or what ever it was carrying out some evil plan.

the decisions we make arnt alway's easy ones. it will upset a few people. it's bound to, we act on whats the best for the forum, not whats best for a few people. we are alway's open to sugestions.

i was lord zedd and i wanted to get rid of the power ranges too. I dont see why i got moderated post when all i did was post in the shout out section. If posting about about power rangers is a waste of space what about the 130 pages of i ban yous. Surely that is more of a waste
