Employment Section

Would it be possible to dump a thread section like shout out and replace it with something worthwhile like an Employment section?

I know myself i always know of work coming up with contact numbers whether it be for our company or another, would be good to give JC people a slight advantage at a job opportunity.

I agree that it would be handy, but we've had ideas of other sections before (computer section etc etc) and what it comes down to is that we are a commodore site.
Someone might like it and run with it though. I do think the shout-out needs to vanish... thats why we have the pub and msn messenger.

Only place I could see it going would be the trading post forum, maybe it could be like the classifieds forum kinda like in newspapers how they have the buy and sell and employment pages together. Maybe it ould be ok of there was enough interest, I know theres heaps of unemployed bums on the site (no offense guys ) but wonder how many people know of job vacancies. I agree the shout out forum should be given the chop though.

I agree about shout vanishing, same with JC Polls, both are pointless bandwidth wasting resources.

They really dont drag that much out of the system.... its amazing how a section designed to hold carp is winged about how much crap is in it and how pointless it is... um yeah. ok... i agree that the unemployed secion is a good idea... but i have noticed that for a site called "justcommodores" its beginning to vary. i think the jokes humour section should go also... the jokes a rarly commodore related.

and should we get rid of signatures and avatars too as they rarely have anything to do with holdens? i agree with the shout out section as its the same as the pub and maybe the jokes can be merged with the pub too
