I came up with a new layout for the General Category, just played around in photoshop.. ideas/thoughts? IMO it's nice and organized, see my notes on the right for reasoning

i agree with stocky about leaving the name but i do like the idea of the pub having those sub-forums, any mods wanna give their opinions?

sub dividing forums etc make the place feel too commercial, opposed to a community feel which i like better.

I agree with raising the club section... i suspect it gets neglected tucked away where it is (I am biased though!)

The layout doesn't look too bad at all actually...

If it were proposed we take it on, I'd vote yes.

All stocky said was the name should stay as the pub. And I'm pretty sure that the Pub will stay just as it is, it will just have the other catagories as optional fourm sections, without lengthening the main forum page.

yeah same its something that is usefull and could help alot of people out... also what about new headers for the site?? instead of the old hothouse green vy update it to something else, not neceselery(speeling) a VE header but something fresh...

I like that idea stocky. Like a featured car of JC. Maybe a link to that particular car's my ride thread as well? (If it has one)

Maybe have a selected person who is willing to do it every month, and someone who knows exactly how to do it, and is reliable enough to do it on time.

the feature car idea can work.. CT uses a script which can be used to implement this idea too..

I like the feature car idea. Trouble is it would require someone quite dedicated and reliable to do it, and most people tend to get bored with those things after a few months

If someone can make up a banner each month with a members car we can set it up. Maybe make around 10 or so to start with, that way we have enough in reserve that they don't have to bust their arse.

I think, have the feature car run fortnightly. I mean, say there were two people that make the banners, they would only have to make 12 each and there is a whole years worth.

But what I wanna know is, who decides what cars go up as the feature car?
