Hey all
Just wondering who is interested in possibly having a "members ride" area where we can post specs and pic's of our cars, like the members car thread but a fitted section. Thanks
Yeh the other Holden sites I have been to have those type of areas and I think they work well, they gave me ideas of wot to do to my car, as when I first got my VR I didn't know crap, now in under a year I know my way round the car pretty well, so it would be good for newbie’s and ideas for mods, so to sum it all up, I think its a goer of a idea, as I have heaps of pics of my car, inside and out, and every mod I have done I have taken pics and notes.

a whole section/thread same thing there is one, just need to add specs
Thats all right, thats ok, I drive a commodore anyway!!!!
I think its not really necessary, if too many more sections are added it will make the place cluttered and not as easy to navigate. But on the other hand, going through one single thread can be a bit tedious, especially for those of us still on dial upOne idea I could suggest which is a bit of a compromise between both would be maybe to have stickys in each different commodore model section for members rides.eg. ppls with VT-VXs would post pics and details about their car in the VT/VX forum etc. At least that way we dont have to scroll through so many pages of cars that are of no potential interest to us.
Me and Darren are currently toying with a few ideas as to what we can do about this so any input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Didn't we just finish complaining about stickys lolOne idea I could suggest which is a bit of a compromise between both would be maybe to have stickys in each different commodore model section for members rides.eg. ppls with VT-VXs would post pics and details about their car in the VT/VX forum etc![]()
But seriously I reckon it'll become too much like Car Domain, you'll get pages of stock Commodores with P plater mods. If we make people submit cars through Admin and post 'feature' cars it'd work. Calais Turbo do the same thing, I think finding something worthy here would be the mission. It seems more of a beginner/how to fix things forum with most users cars being the typical rides you see down the street everyday. Which in itself isn't a bad thing, it's just the demographic of this forum, you only have to read a few threads to see that.
Here's an example of a feature section, and some pretty modified VLT's

I have the same view as Julie, it's getting a bit cluttered so adding a new section is probably out of the question at present although a sub-section or as I mentioned the other night to AirStrike and as OSL has pointed out the vBGarage looks like the go.
vB Garage is almost here
At present it's still in testing stages so only Admins / Mods can access but as soon as we know it hasn't conflicted with anything else the rest of you can access it to add whatever you wish.
EDIT: I feel confident that everything should be right going by the testing I've done on my local LAN so go your hardest guys.
Great little feature![]()

Actually I had better clarify where you can add stuff to vBGarage, in your UserCP you'll find a link to vBGarage, you should be right to go from there.
Awesome, i put mine on there just now.
