Ok so its not really feedback or a problem, moreso a trivial little question I'm curious about lol.
How long has JC's been around? I've only been a member here since early this year and would be interested to know how much I have missedin that time b4 I joined.
Also just gotta say in the time I have been here this place just gets better and better it's a real credit to all those involved![]()

Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
It started off as a hobby which covered a bit of everything back in August 2002 which you can find here back then my knowledge was very limited in the respect I had no idea how to put together a page which was obvious given I used Frontpage.
Back then might I add the forum full of activityas you can see here The forum at that stage was hosted on my home PC until it became too much for the limit I had which was when we got the .com domain and our first host before moving across to our current host which we've been with for a bit over 12 months I guess.
From the old site we then moved to the newer look which you can see here
Finally we have what your looking at right now.
Well that's the story of JC![]()
Oh yeah, thats the old school JC look!
More to come hey Darren? Great work, its hard to find users but you've done well!
Queensland - The Cruising State
I didn't even think about the whole invision board thing, I would rather forget that given the amount of trouble I had merging the two databases.
I've just put the site up, the rest is what you guys have done. By the way that one where the forum was really taking off with 2 users was a mate of mine who was testing so it was a very lonely forum back then.
My god how the old one's look funny...............just used to the new spunky one now I guess.......
Good work old chap![]()
Cheers

wow i know which one i would choose. i am just wondering darren you don't have to answer but how much does it cost to keep jc up and running??

At present very little, I'm current paying around $10 per month, perhaps even less. Basically I can adjust bandwidth, space I need it given I have complete access to the server.
As I know the guy who runs DeepBlue Hosting it works in both directions, I do a bit of work for him as well.
On top of hosting there is the domain which again is bugger all, for a .com it was about $15 or something and a .au was $60 I think I paid.
oh ok i thought it would be alot more then that for some reasonm i spose if it costs that little to give us all something fun to do for alittle while it is worth it
cheers
scott
but then its all the hours of labour to get the site what it is!
