Replacing Rep Points

I have brought this up on JC-Club ( whilst this was down ) but i thought i'd bring it up on here to get a real answer.

Can i get my former rep points replaced?

I had 57 rep points before the site went down ( currently on 46 )

This is what i can do to prove what i had.
My old signature stated 2 weeks prior to the site going down that i had 3 points to go before i was a statesman ( 60 points ) ( could anyone on here verify that i had that? )

The last person to give me rep was Pandaman for my joke in the Jokes/Humor section and was approx 3-4 weeks before site went down.

I know it aint much to prove what i had but its the best i can do and if you cant do this for me, i understand.

honestly, why worry about it? just get some more posts happening that are worthy of rep and you'll get them back in no time. i think pm's and threads are more important to get back than rep points. i only ever bother to look at rep points where theyre in the red.

This is coming from a normal member point of view, not an official moderator answer answer but I reckon theres no way we should do it for a few reasons.

1. Who cares rep isn't very important anyway, do you really need a bigger e-wang?
2. Who is to say who had how many points b4 jc crashed? Leaves it open to a lot of dishonesty.
3. Lots of peoples rep went down even if everyone was honest about how much they had it would be a virtually impossible task to reinstate every members rep that lost some.

Personally I'm more disappointed that we've lost all the infractions and bans we have given to some of our more annoying members lol

I agree with Julie, i lost 70 points, no big deal.
If we started replacing rep etc it would just become a nightmare.

Julie, im with you on the bans. However, as people pop up where i know they are banned, they will be re-added.

Good to have JC back up and running! It sounds like it's been a nightmare.

I'm not too worried about the rep points, but will we eventually be able to get PMs back? I was going to buy a bonnet off someone and can't remember who it was now my PMs have gone!!

Yeah who cares, i lost 20 points too but i couldn't give a rats, it's just good to have JC up again

At the moment not too much is going to happen, I have a whole list of things to do once load probs have been sorted which I'll leave in the hands of Dale and the crew.

It's all piling up as I'm going through realising more and more things need to be done in the background although I'm trying to keep it as light on as possible for the time being whilst the niggly things are being sorted.

I welcome anyone which finds anything missing to let me know and I'll check it against the list I have.

I think that is reason enough not to get them back. Rep points shouldn't be for good jokes.
