And here it is: Let users delete their own posts for two reasons:

1. if they have posted something they may regret, they can delete it.
2. if someone double-posts then they can clean it up themselves.

if you think you might regret it, dont post it in the first place. its not that much work for us mods to clean up a double post

It wont happen for various reasons. It used to be allowed, but a few people ruined it for many others.
