Site pictures wont open!

Hi all, Ive only been back a few times since the big server crash and every time I do visit the site it looks an absolute mess because no picture, avatae, graphic etc is displayed. I end up getting those little red crosses x in every box imaginable. Is there a fix to this? Anyone else experienced it or just me?

Go into your user control panel, click on edit options, and check that the following boxes are ticked:

Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

Hope this helps, oh btw mine loads everything perfectly.

I dare say it's going to be a few isolated cases, the site has been backup for a month without any hassles and I'm sure it would have been bought way before this if the problem were widespread.

Is someone having problems able to do some screenshots, I think I know what you mean I just want to be sure.

From what you have described it sounds as though something is blocking the images from loading.

Cookies or Temp items might need clearing being the first thing that comes to mind.

Bill: followed your advice and all those check boxes are ticked but still having the same problem! i dunno anymore, im stuck

Have you tried as I suggested above? If it were such a problem many more members would have come forward by now.

Yeh thanks Darren i did all that and there is no difference. BTW I was never suggesting that it is a universal problem... its really starting to **** me now

Not much else it can be, what virus protection / software firewall are you using, if any? What modem / router?

Perhaps trying another browser ie firefox if your not using it already?

im having the same problem and im not very good at working out problems on the computer i took some pics of the screen to show you what im seeing hope to find out soon a fix for the problem
