Morning All,
Well before anyone pipes up and says things have certainly I thought I would get in first.

You will note now the sponsor category sits right at the top instead of being tucked away down the bottom.

The reasoning behind this is fairly simple, without the site sponsors Just Commodores would simply exist so it's time they got more exposure and what better way to make people scroll past them

This is gonna take some getting used to. I was backwards enough as it is!!!

i agree have the main section after the sponsors section, or even after the Holden Commodore Related section, so then the main section, is not right to the bottom, of the page...

I think that the sections should be kept in the order as they were exept the sponsors can be at the top. Now my browsing habits are all jumbled up!

seeing as the address keeps changing, just click on the main section so it opens just that.

ctrl+D if you use firefox

but it doesn't help the site.


in a way, i think having the car related stuff at the top is better. it is a car site afterall. if you want friends, use myspace.

awesome. i learnt today that you can close individual sections. i used to leave them all open and check out each one from time to time, now the ones i dont use are staying closed. i come here to learn about cars, not to look for stuff to buy. i understand why youre doing it though

For the record, the MAIN section is under the sponsors, since when was the pub/jokes etc the main section?

I think all the off topic stuff should stay at the bottom.

I will be talking to Darren tomorrow to request if i can modify a few things, but apart fromt hat it wont really change

the pub has the second largest amounts of posts. I vote that ONLY the sponsor section should have been moved.

maybe we should have a poll - with propper options, not like the thread that was just closed in the pub.

I like the idea of having the general section at the top (below sponsors) because you can have a look at whats going on before you get stuck into the serious stuff.

^^ speaking of the general section, im having a problem, when i click on general (just above the my ride section) it takes me to the general sub formus (which show the pub, all the states sections and other things together) instead of all the threads that are in general??? is this spose to happen? it only started happening ever since this all got changed around

When I did the change yesterday morning I didn't think too much about the general section but having said that and reading replied it seems to be in favour so consider it done.

With regards to the general section I don't quite follow? Unless the change I just made altered something although I wouldn't have thought so.

Sponsor banners will be making a return shortly, I noticed this morning my account had been suspended due to load levels on the other server hence why it seemed to be hanging just after the banner.

(and MUCH better than having "main" all the way down the bottom. That was just wierd ^^)
