Search Limitations

I've noticed that I can't do a search for 3 letter words (and NO I'm not talking about words like 'the' 'for' 'and' etc).

I'm pretty sure you used to be able to search 3 letter words, but I could be wrong. Is there a reason for this?

it makes searching for commodore models pretty hard.

If you were after something for a vs commodore you could put vs* commodore

There was a thread I found ages ago on how to get the best out of the vB search, lets face it it's not exactly the best thing ever put together. I'll see if I can track it down, was over on vB's site.

Yeah yeah yeah I know I've gone digging for this one

But it's really annoying that you can't search for 3 letter words. I'm trying to search the VR/VS section for threads with 'ABS' but I can't get anything because it won't do a search with a 3 letter word.....

I tried doing abs* as suggested above but it still doesn't bring back any results.

try using google search instead. you can do that through the search link, or just go to google and type something like this:
vn engine site:justcommodores.com.au
