We need a wiki!
Hey guys....
I decided we need a wiki, so that we can chuck all tech information, how to's, and other real handy stuff in one place (rather than having stickies and lost threads etc....
a'la R31 Skyline Club style...
Leave it open for editing by the masses... people can fix/alter/add information.. (or lock down access... whatever....) but I think it would be a VERY highly useful tool, not just for the members of JC, but for all commodore owners!
due to the nature of the wiki, it would be very easy to navigate and find information etc.... (reading about ecus can guide you to tun ing, checking error codes, how-to's for making the cables....etc etc)
if there are technical (i.e. noone to make it) issues, i'd be happy to spend some time setting this up

Actually we did start something before the other host decided to pull the pin, virtually no info was there if my memory serves me correctly.
I'll see what I can knock up during this week at some point.

Yeah I started work on this a few months ago, but when we had the server change it was lost. I'm happy to get behind it and get it off the ground

i've used this before and found it to be pretty good!
In terms of integrating logins/permissions and that kinda development, it's all right up my alley - so happy to offer a hand there.
There's quite a few how-to's on the site now, which could be pretty easily transferred. and plenty of stickies etc containing super useful info!

Is it possible we can individual pages for each model, instead of VB- VK.
Also i done a heap of work putting together information in the Oldholden pedia, am i allowed to copy and paste the stuff i did and put into this pedia?

somthing that a non nerd (teck savvy) could actually use..
althou i program CNC's i hate the mindless setup's of some site's
