Just Commodores Email Addresses

Morning All,
Due to the huge amounts of spam coming through on the system we are doing a massive cleanup of all .com email addresses.

Ultimately this is causing severe load issues on the server with connection timeouts to the mail server at some points.

If you wish to keep your JC email address either reply here or send an email to admin@justcommodores.com.au stating the email address you use so we can ensure it remains on the system.

In place shortly will be an extension of whats already on the system for spam filtering but much tougher and will act as a greylisting setup meaning spam will be almost eradicated.

Should there be no reply here or an email sent by the 26th March 2005 the email account will be removed.

i'm gonna sound like a noob, but how do i get a kewl email address. I haven't come accross this option yet i don't think.

edit : dun worry figured out where to go. have to wait until new sign ups are allowed i suppose.

Until the script is fixed which we used at one stage to add email addresses I don't see us adding it back in anytime soon.

This was due to spammer which caused us a great deal of headaches.

I've made a few changes to the mail server this afternoon which has had a huge positive impact, the mail load has dropped right down next to nothing which is great news.

Spam filtering I'm still working but should be working now and we now have virus filtering or any other attachments we deem inappropriate.

So far 2 email addresses stay out of 300 odd hehe

I didn't send out the email until a few days later, looking through the recipients I didn't have either of you guys listed so that would be a good reason why you didn't receive it.
