The way I view site has changed....??

Dont know if anyone can shed some light here........I think when JC had a problem back around December??.....and then came back online (for want of a better description) something happened to the way I see JC.

It is now a lot slower (Im only on dial up) than it ever was before and....
every emoticon or whatever is now only represented by the lil' red X in a box.

Even on this 'post a reply' page, all the 'fonts' sizes ect aross the top of the page are small red X's........can anybody help
(cant post a bloody angry or confused emoticon as I cant goddammit see them)

Mine does this at work when our virus software is active on my computer.

For some reason it thinks the pictures, buttons, emotion, avatars etc are risky and doesnt load them
