cant get on to post new thread

I have a number of items for sale , I have been given a password, I still cant post a new thread. What do I have to do?

hey mate, on this forum they require you to be a member for a minimum of 3 months and have atleast 30 posts. This is to stop people joining up just to sell things. Stops the site being used for free adverts

IN laymans terms I am required to do what? How does one obtain 30 posts, if the site wont post a thread. I have been visiting this site for 6 months.

your account says you JOINED in April so you will have to wait 3 months from the date you JOINED. you can post in other threads and try to help answer peoples questions etc etc, this is how your post count goes up.

SO

you will need to post in other threads enough times and wait the 3 month period. this forum will not let you post a thread in the for sale section until your 3month and 30 posts are obtained

your join date is 24 april 08, so while you may have been visiting the site for 6 months, you have only registered recently, and as such, registration date is when the 3 months starts counting down.

to get 20 posts, you must post in areas where the post counts adds up, and it mustnt be random dribble to get to 20. ie, you must "contribute" to the site.

there is also a sticky in the for sale section that explains all this, but you mustnt have read any of that before trying to post.
