Due to members cracking the sads and trying to edit all their posts when they leave(leaving some threads rendered useless) Darren has changed the amount of time you have to edit a post/thread.

by edit, i mena update the MAIN post, so people know what is going on.

So can this be rectified? as i would like to update the first post. Just so its easier for everyone who reads it.
    Cheers.

Nope, you can't send any updates to a mod via pm.

Is this going to be the case for "my ride" section to?
Cause alot of people just update their original post, aswell as some people may have the need to edit/remove info pics from it.

Contact your local Section mod, Grennan. He should be able to help. That is why we have put section mods in place so they can run their area and sort these issues out.

And despite what you think, it is not bull****. Darren did it for a reason (as explained by minux).

Why can't people use their brains and only reply once in the thread, each person that replies adds the list from the person above them, so that by the last post you have a full list.

Pretty simple really. You can blame the group of morons who thought it cool to edit their posts to nothing after they cracked the sads.

How long do you need to modify a thread? It's currently set to 30 days which for the majority I really see no issue at all.

You are not limited to how much you can edit that thread, it's based on a time factor.

If you really were that bored you could edit the post every single minute 24/7 up until that 30 days is up, after that a mod will need to make that change.

Darren, is it possible to modify this for the My Ride Section?

Just for adding pictures and information to the original post. It is a great idea for the rest of the forum but the My Ride section may be an exception?

I understand if its an all or nothing thing though of course.

I modify the thread so pople dont have to look at post number 99. They can just post at the bottom of the first page, after they have read what the go is.

Im sure there is alot of people on here who dont know abt the 30 day bull****.

Yes because carrying on and swearing will get you your own way. This is how we have it set, deal with it and move on.
