I know who you are referring to Minux; who the member was that hacked the board to pieces long ago, as well as other members too. But regular members can't alter other peoples posts. So why can't members go and correct or update their own posts just like mods and admin can correct their own when they realise they've made a mistake or need to update information ? How can a 1 month time limit change anything ? Can't anyone still make a thread useless on the 29th day also ? no ?

I am going through a lot of stress (post traumatic) in my life and this forum has been an escape from that at times, where I've been able to help some other people solve their troubles so I don't tend to think about my own all the time. So thankyou for that Darren !

Also while while I'm here admitting my own faults I'd like to say to those that I've offended while I've posted here I sincerely apologize to you all.

But Darren with this system in place now I feel I may have to refrain from helping anyone with responses of any technical / helpful stuff at all in future. Because I don't know when or where I might make a mistake or post something out of place and if it falls out of range where I can't fix it or report it... then it becomes left behind for someone else to trip over... and I'm not accepting liability for that.

Which Mod wants to look at 2000 odd old posts that I'd like to take a re-look at right now ! Who's willing to go through them all with me ?

    Regs,
    Mike

    Hey Mike,

I havent been around here much in the last few months with moving and all so I can't comment much on any recent editing of posts. But there have been occassions where members have cracked the ****s, left the forum and edited/deleted all their posts, this buggers up things for the rest of our members and stuffs up threads. This is where the posts over a month old being edited can become a problem.

I can safely say none of us mods would want to look through each of your 2000 odd posts, but we don't need to, you still have the option of reviewing all your past posts. If you come across a dodgy post where you may have made a mistake or said something you regret just shoot one of us mods or admin a pm with the thread link and we can edit it for you.
