I think JC would go really well with a IRC server, for those who dont know what it is, IRC, or Internet Relay Chat is basically an online chat room for the site where members can talk about anything they want in person.
If youd like to see what im talking about you can try it for yourself:
Live Chat
if mods have an issue with me posting that feel free to remove.
With JC's large memberbase an IRC server would be a great way to communicate with other members.
There was actually IRC set up a while ago, I haven't been online for months but I do believe it is still in action, I'll try to find some details![]()
type this into mIRC -

Yeah, I agree, however, I have a better plan in the works over IRC.

Dude,
A group of us have been in the JC IRC channel for quite a long time.
Quite easy to download a chat client and join us you know.
In the years I have been a JC member this subject raises it's head from time to time so we organise a channel, have even done the java chat thing, and it's always the same. Everyone joins and it's full on for a week, then just the same handful remain till the next time someone thinks they have an original idea about have an channel etc.![]()
