Sorry to bother anyone, but its a small issue I have posted a few times today on a few threads and none of my posts are being counted.

I only joined today...so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Oh yeah i forgot I downloaded my profile picture, on my user CP it says no worries...then when I go save changes it says problems with file or something....Could I please get some help with this one too.

But I am a little computer illiterate (if thats how you spell it) and can't seem to reduce the size.......any ideas on how to make my photos smaller

You still having trouble with your picture?

You can email the picture to me if you like, and I'll resize it, and check it's in an appropriate format (jpg, gif, png), and convert it if it's not, etc.

Otherwise, if you want to try to reduce the file size yourself, probably the first step is to save it as a jpeg file (.jpg), if it's not already. This will hopefully reduce the file size (ie: kilobytes, megabytes etc.).
The other possible issue, resizing the actual dimensions of the image as it appears on screen, will be slightly more involved.

Obviously both these changes would require some kind of software which can open/save, and/or edit images. (ie: photoshop, or one of the free alternatives).

Thanks a bunch mate i will try to email the photo to you shortly, I know it a jpeg but thats about it.
