How to quote people ?

you know how everyone quotes peoples messages in their replies and there's a blue box around them ? how do you do that... i tries all the buttons i can find but no joy .

i noticed you also know how to use the edit button mmwhahahahah. don't worry i can handle some criticism as long as its constructive.

You can also quote more than 1 message, click the button next to the quote one, and it will turn orange and change to minus, then on the last message (if your quoting 4, on the 4th one) hit the normal quote button, and they'll all quote for you.

This i didn't know lol. And all this time i have been quoting each then copying and pasting quoted text into the 1 post

LOL, i do that on other forums that don't have it. This is the only forum i use that has the add on. Great for my ride threads when lots of people ask different questions, so its not one big wall of text.

it's a simple bbcode setup.

[!!quote=""][/quote] is the command, between the '''' you insert the persons name, and between the [] you put the text, and make sure you remove the !! from the start for example:

you can do that regardless of any post the person makes. anothe way rather than retyping, you can simply copy and past. makes life oh so much eaiser.
