Default Crashed into tree... Is this worth trying to fix?

So unfortunately my first post here is about my near write off. The car isn't insured, and I bought it at a good price (plus before the crash it was in good nick), so I figure if it doesn't cost too much to fix, it'll be worth it having a go at. The motor is fine, from what I can tell so far it's just the front bumper, bonnet, radiator, headlights etc.. The front left and right panels are fine. There are a few VS's around with straight front ends on them for under a grand. All I can hope is that the chassis isn't too warped. What do you guys reckon?

Edit: Please resize the images, they are mammoth.

Difficult to say without seeing pics, but if you hit something solid like a tree and took out the entire front end panels, internal damage is a certainty and the car probably won't be worth repairing. The front reo bar behind the bumper will have buckled and pulled in the inner guards slightly, the radiator support panel will be stuffed and the chassis rails probably bent, even if only slightly.

If you car was good before the prang, consider getting one of those cheapies and using yours for parts to do it up.

Sorry to resurrect this way old thread, but I just relocated my login to here and thought I'd update. I've found another schmick VS that I've bought and it's going great. I'm going to keep the old one around for parts, but would be happy to consider any offers on the engine, drive train, wheels (20" VE GTS replicas with low profiles on them, 2x Toyo and 2x cheap brand - will have to check what series). Car has done 148,000 and the engine still starts up after the crash, the car actually drives fine, just has no front end panels or radiator. I'll post something in the "parts for sale" area later on, just thought I'd put this here in case it comes up in anyone's searches.
