Hi,
My car was professionaly resprayed about 4 weeks ago now and I have about 1 or 2 litres of the colour left (thinners havent been added) just sitting in a can in my shed. Some parts of the car id like to touch up with a brush, but for most of the things i need to spray now (a door jamb, new grille) i need the paint put in a can, can anybody reccomend a place who do it and how much it costs?
Also, its a custom colour, so I do have a paint code of the car but the paint i have has had some tinters and pearl added to it, so i cant substitute.
Thanks

most autobarn stores can put custom mixed paint(usually their own) into a pressure pack. drop in and ask your local store, just let them know it IS a custom mix. they retail for $30, they might do it cheaper using your paint. otherwise, you can buy a little kit that has a jar for paint, nozzle and replaceable pressure packs. pour your paint into jar, spray. never tried one though.

Yeah, My local Auto 1 store sells all that sort of stuff, or can order it in..

Since it is a custom mix, as hakky said, tell them its custom and you have some left over

the spray cans have thinners and aerosol in them, all thats added is the paint, shake the can and spray it, done.

thought primer was separate? Then again friend said screw priming the door jamb coz it'll rarely see the light of day anyway ha. Bad news for my door spats though, used rape tape to hold them against the door while the urethane dried, went to remove the tape, ripped the paint right off them. Seems paint doesn't bond with fibreglass very well

Dont forget primer

Should only need to prime if itd

A) baremetal
B) bogged
Or C) a completely darker/diffent color

In your case you probably won't need to prime
