How to paint side mirrors

hey guys im thinking of painting my side mirrors on my ute and already got told that the paint to use is a hi-build primer and 2k colour, but i was wondering if i could get a fairly good finish with just the good old can paint from shops like autobarn or somewhere similar
any answers would be very helpful

nope, just rub it with p800 wet, plastic prime it, 2k prime, rub again and paint away.

You say "spray away" spray with can from autobahn or with 2pk paint?
I was wondering how this would go myself

you can spray it from a can. but it wont look good or last very long
