bonnet and roof respray?

I have a green vs commodore ute that has a patch on the front left corner of the bonnet and a patch on the same corner of the roof that has peeled back to bare metal. The patches are approx. 30cm x 30cm in size. Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice and/or a ball park figure to repair for this?
Ute is located in Hobart, tasmania.

id be trying to work out why its peeling to start with, theres no point painting over paint that could peel again.
if it was my car id bare metal the roof and bonnet and paint bonnet, 2 guards (for color accuracy) and bar while youre up the front there.
the color on the roof can be blended down the pillars so no need to go into the 1/4 panels..

price? i have nfi what the tassie blokes charge but down in melb for a decent job youre looking @ $1500 +
