Hey just wanting to know what the cost are like to paint your car yourself and if its worth it?

well, that depends.

It's generally not worth it to do it yourself unless you actually have some idea what your doing, in which case you would know the rough costs.

My opinion is that you shouldn't undertake to paint a whole car yourself with no experience unless you are prepared to do it again when you realise it didn't work out.

if you have a VS it would have been done in 2k. If you did it yourself, i imagine you'd be doing it in acrylic. You won't get the same colour match or finish. A proper body shop could do it to factory specs but you's be looking at maybe $5k at least....
