VE's are not recommended for retrofitting of sunroofs unless they are ordered new with one- the turret is different for sunroof versions. Omega's don't have sunroof as an option i think

Was the sunroof fitted by the factory or was it a dealer option, did you adjust the glass panel (or get it adjusted ) and finally were the drain tubes clear and flowing. These are the main reasons why a sunroof leaks unless you are talking about the old pop up style roofs which have never been a good idea.
i am a panel beater apprentice and im keen on installing a second hand sun roof in my stato. if it leaks ill jsut urethane it, i think i can get a second hand roof with sun roof/head liner and looms for 300. so tempting.

just go direct to webasto in sydney they supply everyone with sunroofs and you fellas that had leaky roofs your draintubes would have to of been installed wrong or blocked which is very common webasto sunroofs can supply new seals even just new glass if it gets broken or any parts for that matter the company i work for fit webasto sunroofs so know they are a quality product or we just wouldnt touch them . that second hand roof would be more trouble than its worth by the way . also since when has the ve not been recommended for retro fit sunroofs its webasto who supply to holden in the first place so you are installing the exact same product as factory ,sorry but you have been misinformed on the ve it actually adds strenght to there roof , we install them for holden dealers if its not recommended they would not be permitted by holden to have it done ?
