Anyone know of someone who can paint extractors in melbourne? They are already on the car, do they need to be removed? Cheers
Yes, they will have to be removed. But why paint them? They will discolour anyway.

Do it yourself.
Taking them out/Putting them in is a bitch if all your going to do is paint them which will wear off anyway.

i think they do painting in your back yard OP. pretty sure the company is called VHT:
this stuff is brilliant. still holding up really well on the impala, and its done about 2000k's
You take em off and I'll paint em for you =]
I did a set of headers on a V8 VN on the car using the VHT Flame Proof, I didn't use the spray can but used an artists brush that was about 5mm wide with a very long handle, I sprayed the paint into a jar and carefully painted what I could see, I made sure that I covered every possible visible part, the paint is extremely thin and it is like painting with water on a dry porous surface, it left no brush marks what so ever and dried to a nice finish, the only issue I had was that being so thin it was very easy for the brush to flick off a spot here and there so I made sure if that happened to wipe it off straight away. I had the car for around 10 years and it never changed its appearance in all that time, but I only did about 50,000km in all that time. Looking at them from above looking into the engine bay you wouldn't have know there were sections underneath not painted, as I made sure I painted every little bit that was visible from above. It was a fiddle job but the end result did look good. VHT is really a great heat resistant paint.
