Spraying Track Stripes.

I currently have a phantom black ssv with the silver track stripes... some people say they don't look that great, but when they see the car they actually like it... anyway.. the stripes would have to be replaced every couple of years as the vinyl doesn't like the weather! (great idea holden!)

I've seen this car advertised and they have sprayed the stripes with 2 pac... does anyone know how much something like this would roughly cost?



I like the fact that it has the same gloss as the paint and i could polish & seal without having to watch the stripes... but in the same instance, i would be narrowing my resale market down..

Change of plan - Looking at it, i would be to concerned about resale so will keep to having something that can be removed.

Mate, I'm very surprised they would only last that long but if that's what you've been told I'm not going to doubt you

The vinyl used for my side stripes has a life of 7 years. Pay a bit more and get the colour you want in a good vinyl. Will probably be cheaper than Holden too

My father inlaw had 2 white vinyl stripes put on his twin cab ute to match his mustang and when it was removed 2 years later the 2 stripes left the original color and the body color faded a bit and you could see the difference in direct light..
