Two tone

hey guys just a few quick questions?
How does a two tone paint job work? Does the whole car need to be resprayed to the new scheme or can the original be left and just the second colour be sprayed?
How much would a job like that set you back?

All depends on what shop when it comes to price, but generally if you are just wanting say from your door handles up done in another colour, then depending on how much your paying, they might just scotch up your whole car, mask out to do your second colour, paint your top colour, un mask then clear your whole car. But thats the quick and cheap option.....
