The problem with changing the colour is that you have to paint the insides etc which is a big job especially the engine bay so unless you really really want to change the colour I probably wouldn't suggest it. It will cost twice as much and not too many panel shops would be interested and if you are doing it yourself I really wouldn't suggest it

    +1 to that.

Respraying in the original colour, especially if its not in terrible condition, is relatively easy and cheap. Most peeling and fading usually occurs with the clear top coat, not the base colour, so all it should need is a rub back and a couple coats of clear in most cases. Panel damage changes that of course.

A change of colour changes everything.. removing interior, engine etc.. an absolute crapload of extra work and cash. Nothing looks worse than a car with a different colour inside the doors or engine bay, so its all or nothing.

I recommend not changing colour unless you have a deep wallet, or a lot of commitment and time on your hands.

2 tone it. i assume that its panels like the roof and bonnet the probs are and the lower panels below the body line are fine. if this is true go a 2 tone job for a custom look but no need to pull the whole car to pieces to do it.
