    Default Cracked spoiler.

Hey guys, just wondering if this can be fixed, or if im looking at the cost of a new spoiler. The previous owners have obviously patched it up at least once, there is touch up paint marks all around both of them. Its really starting to bother me as when it rains the water goes in, and when i lift my boot, it rains on my head.
    Cheers.

Personally I'd get a new spoiler mate, the damage looks like its where all the weight of the spoiler goes so your better off replacing it.

Cut out all the loose edges and grind the edge to a slight bevel.

Go to Bunnings and get as small a piece of metal flyscreen wire sheet that they will sell you. Wet the inside of the spoiler with some fibreglass 2 part mix, stick the matting inside of the spoiler while it is still wet and bridging the gap.

When dry spread a lot more fibreglass mix through all the little holes, this will give it thickness. When dry again, add some more to the outside and fill to contour. Keep building and filing (or grinding) till you get the right shape.

It might cost you say $30 plus paint, but then you'd need to paint another if you bought one anyway.
