I have a set of ANZ rims the paints all buggered on. What I want to do is respray them so that the spokes are black and the outside of the rim is red...So...round bit red spokes black. What would be the best way to make that happen? I'm a little worried in terms of where the spoke meets the outside of the rim where the colour is going to change from red to black. Is it just going to be a case of painting red then taping and masking and then spraying black or the other way around...Or is there a better way?
get me some pics if you can.
but yes do them in a base coat paint one colour probably the red will be best first then the black.
Where you located?
Northern suburbs Adelaide there is a black be ute in one of the latest sc magazines with 22's that gave me the idea my rims are only 17s if I can do it right I'd like to try that way otherwise I might just go full red

My wheel
What I'd like my wheel to look like
actually looking at that you could do it either way. red first or black.
Pity your not in Melbourne I coulda helped you
yeah thats probably the only way to do it, red first then black would be better because black will cover the red easier
and unless your wheels are 2peice or 3peice, then thats the easiest way
I'd do the red first, it will be way easier to mask out
i paint wheels myself if you where in melb i could of helped you.
i would start with the red, unless you love masking lol
