Hi all,
Going to be having a crack at repairing my own wheels this weekend and wondering if anyone can tell me where I might get some paint that'll be the right colour for my wheels? I'm happy to respray the whole lot, just want to get the same or roughly the same colour.
They are VY Senator wheels.
Along that vein, I've read that using aerosol cans on the wheels will look fine initially but will probably go bad really quickly. Am I better off learning how to do 2pak myself or even sucking it up and paying for it? Or will the acrylic be OK?
I'm in Melbourne, if that is helpful.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I used Holts pressure packs when I refinished some VN SS wheels lately. I just used Asteroid Silver as it was fairly close. I haven't had any problems with them yet, I did do a few coats of clear and made sure I prepped the surface well first.
If you wanted an exact colour match and you wanted to use pressure packs, a local paint store should be able to mix it up for you.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely give it a shot.
Can I ask where you sourced the Holts from?
I'm assuming Repco/Super Cheap etc?
Supercheap, was about &12 a can, and one can covered two wheels

Hey there mate I got a small business that I'm starting out, "CHASE my WHEELS" and I'm in taylors lakes.
Its a flat rate of $600-
that's all 4 wheels repaired
(gutter rash, scratches and chips), primed, all prep work and
spray painted.
