After a few years the radiator cover has started to fade and deteriate. I had painted it impulse blue, untill i got it with brake fluid, from there i repainted it plain old black, $3 can from SCA.
So the project i have started is a full repair and smoothing of the cover, i have started off by sanding back the old exisiting paint, and bogging up.
Just after any tips and trade advice, or suggestions.

Prime it before painting it
Primer/Filler?
Ive got an air compressor but i was thinking primer/filler in a can and painting out of the gun

Use 80g to sand the bog. Then 150 then 240. Finish with 400. You can get primer filler in a can but first scuff with grey scotchbrite and spray plastic primer over the whole part then spray the primer Leave for an hour or so then sand with 600 wet.. Spray 3 coats of everything and wait 10 min between coats. it does not need to be special heat paint any paint can take the heat.
hope this helps.

Awesome info, Ive only got the one gun and paint container so i figure at the moment spray can will be the best option. Thanks for the info

could of done a couple of wet coats of primer from the gun and blocked that back smooth rather then playing with bog.
