I was reversing out of a bay after vacuuming my car at a service station but didn't say a low-lying pole that was at the end of the bay. So I swung right into it after leaving the bay and crumpled my front left panel. The bumper got unhinged as a result of this. By looking at this picture, can anyone tell me how expensive it is going to be to get a panel beating or how expensive it will be to get the panel replaced? Thank you in advance!
Buy a good condition second handy, remove the badges and such and get quotations!
Judging by the photo i'd say it will be around $800 at a panel shop
That's a good idea, wombles and I'll look into that option. Sm00th, do you mean it might be around $800 for a full replacement? Getting the panel beaten out should be a much cheaper option, right?
No your better off buying a second hand guard, in the same colour if you can. Forget taking it to a smash repair unless you got some chassis damaged but I highly doubt you would.
$25-$50 for a guard at the wreckers, An $10-$15 for a bumper clip.
Man up, Hour fix an the most once you have the bits.

No matter what your circumstances, no matter who you are - everyone deserves second chances
That would cost me $40 max in white...
Bit of polish and that'll rub out - well the scuff on the bumper will get close

Thats with a 2nd hand guard. That guard is not worth repairing
anyone wondering what it looks like under the guard? bet that skirt is bent a little
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
i bet the outer skirt and the lower head light panel are all damaged.
still you can put a second hand guard on it and no one would be able to tell.
My VT Senator 220 KW. http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...tor-220kw.html
+1 to Wreckers. If it's like the VT, I think the panel is just bolted on anyway...Light shouldn't be damaged, if it is the bottom mounting lug will probably have snapped off. Araldite will fix it I think.
Wrong colour? Respray the whole carOr just buy a thing of the right colour and DIY.
