SSV Red Dash

hi all, i have an 08 VE SS ute, and i was curious how i could go about painting the srs, glove box and areas areound the cluster and under the steering wheel, and also the honeychomb section behind the seats, read like the SSV have, is it possible? and does anyone know the color code for the paint of the red. thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the colour is a dye, used in the manufacturing process. I would suggest talking to an auto trimmer if you're keen on changing it.

What faynt said - for it to look good you'll prob need to speak to an autotrimmer.

I test drove one that had the red dash,it was pretty sunny and i was getting some glare from the dash which was annoying (may have been the cheap and nasty hi-gloss stuff they put on it to clean though..)

its actually paint!
where i used to work we painted all that stuff for the VE.
its a matte finish, and the colour is RED HOT
