Hey there today i started my car today and found found fuel leaking everywhere i had a look and noticed it was one of my injectors i am looking for advice on where to buy decent injectors and could it be fixed at home i'm currently on a first year mechanic status and therefore not much money would love the help if possible
Thanks Sean
O-rings, very easy to do on vn-vr motor's... harder on vs (you have to remove the plenum on vs)
they're dirt cheap to buy.
use vaso on them when installing them.
you'll need 12 o-rings.
thanks mate. is it worth going genuine O-rings or aftermarket??
You can get brand new injectors that come with new 0-rings etc for around $160. Check the ebay link below. I fitted these same injectors to my VS around 8 months ago, and so far theyve been excellent. I didnt really know what to expect from them, as they are only a "cheap" brand injector, but at that price, I though Ive got nothing to loose, and so far theyve worked out excellent. I recommend anyone considering having their old injectors cleaned etc, to consider buying these instead. The EFI places around here wanted $150 just to remanufacture my old injectors, and they said that even when theyve been recoed, they will never flow as good as new ones..
