hi all,
ive found quite a cheap rb26dett, but there is an issue with 5 of the cylinders. they dont have a good compression rate.
i was planning on buying the engine, and using the top half to build a hybrid rb30.
so it would be twin cam.
would there be an issue with this?
you use the bottom end(block) of an RB30 with an RB26 head, then bolt on a turbo or two and bobs your uncle.

you'll need custom pistons i believe as the rb30 dont have the right valve reliefs.
This mod is popular these days so these pistons are an off the shelf item nowadays just make sure you get the right ones
