I have been told to use hemi con rods.

Pretty sure they use a Ford 221 crank cut the snout off and weld a 202 snout back on it.
Different pistons with pin heights shorter to compensate for stroke.
Better off to use a longer custom rod and a shorter piston pin height piston to try to correct the rod/stroke ratio.
Cause the usual setup has a tendancy to poke rods out the sides of the block.
